LEGO Marvel Super Heroes showcases early gameplay, giant Hulk playable character

In the latest Game Informer exclusive developer video, we get a brief glimpse of the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game from Traveler Tales. It's still very early footage, but we get a nice glimpse at minifig versions of Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine and Captain America.

We also get a look at the very first playable character that's going to be much bigger than its other super-hero counterparts. And rightly so. The Hulk looks to be twice as big as any other minifig-represented super hero, and that's alright with us. Honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way. This will also be the first time that a playable character is bigger than than the standard minifigs we've gotten to play as over the years.

One notable quote that is said during the video is "For every Lego game, we make we have to take ten, eleven steps forward for people to perceive we've taken one or two steps forward." I completely agree with this point. As a longtime fan of the LEGO games, I appreciate all the new mechanics that are implemented to the new games, even though the games usually get branded as being "more of the same."
